My tiny, sweet, precious baby girl turned 5 months old yesterday. Miley is REALLY advanced for her age. She can do one-arm push ups, tap dance, and sing opera at the same time. Not really, but we sure think she is something special. She has started to REALLY grab and hold on to objects, communicate her likes and dislikes, roll over, and every once and a while I'll hear her say "DA."
The truth is, the older she gets, the more fun she gets. Just and I are having a blast playing with her, reading to her, and making her laugh.
This past month we have been focused on helping Miley strengthen her neck. After seeing the Physical Therapist we were encouraged to do exercises with Miley that would 'stretch' her tight neck muscles. But even after preforming these exercises daily her Torticollis was not improving.

So The physical Therapist had to Tape Miley's little back and shoulders to help relax the muscles and keep them in the correct position so they can eventually get stronger. She has to wear the tape four days in a row, then I take it off her for a few days and then the Therapist puts it back on another four days. We repeat this process 3 times.

I don't think Miley minds the tape too much. I just think she misses getting her chance to splash around in the tub, because I have to sponge bath her while she is wearing the tape so it doesn't get wet. It will be worth it in the end because once the problem is taken care of it should not come back.
