Miley's Baby Blessing

 

Yes, it's true. Miley ruined her dress right before sacrament meeting started, and I didn't have time to run home to get her something new to wear. So, I just wrapped her up as tight as I could in a blanket to hide the lime green mess, handed her over to Justin, and told him not to let anyone see her back side. Miley really has the sweetest disposition, but that little girl sure knows how to let 'em rip! It must be those Madsen genes kickin'in!;) Justin gave a beautiful blessing. Our families and friends filled up half of the chapel. We had so many people come and support us. It meant so much to me to have my Husband, brothers, dad, father-in-law, grandfathers, and close friends stand in the circle to bless our baby girl. Afterwards we had everyone over to our house for dinner. We served a potatoe bar with all the fixin's-(right Grayson?), fruit, veggies, and yummy dessesrts my mom and grandma made which were gone in seconds! It was just so much fun to have so many people join us for this special day. I have been looking forward to it for a long time. It is not very often we get to have all of our siblings together, as well as four generations in the same room. We are so fortunate! My heart was filled with grattitude for the many blessings we enjoy and the love we feel from our Father in Heaven. Thank you to everyone (Mom-once again-, Michelle, Kerri, Grandma) who came and helped us make it such a nice event, and thanks most of all to Just- it could not have come together without your help. Thank you for being such a sweet spouse, and tender father. Miley and I have got it good! We love you!
