Close to Home

We have many fun things to do close to our house. Most are within walking distance. 1 Minute from our house: This is a Lake Justin, Miley and I take a walk to most mornings. It has trails all around it, a playground nearby, and a pretty waterfall. It's also where the entire neighborhood goes swimming when the weather is nice. There are even lifeguards. 2 Minutes from our house: This is the Bedford Basin. It's the same Ocean you can see from our front porch. We took this picture from the boardwalk that stretches along the waterfront. We can stroll all along it where there is also little playgrounds and grassy areas with park benches for picnics. The scenery here reminds me a lot of what you would see in San Fransisco. There are large bridges and the subdivisions are built on steep hills. 5 Minutes from our house: This is another park just down the Bay a little further. It's not as big, but the playground sits right on the water and it's really peaceful, beautiful, and a little more quiet. There is also a swimming pool here too where young kids take swimming lessons in the summertime. We have enjoyed our time with Justin home so much. We have appreciated his help in all areas. The air is turning cooler now, and fall is on it's way in, so I guess it's time for us to send him off to school. He starts tomorrow so wish him luck!

Wow, that is beautiful country! I wish that I had so many beautiful places to take walks to and look out from my front porch! But for now unfinished sidewalks and construction sites will have to do here in B*town! Good luck to Justin in all of his schooling and to you and Miley for supporting him!

Wow its so beautiful up there! I love that you can see the ocean from your front porch, how fantastic! Yes Nathan and I are expecting, I am 11 weeks along, due March 23rd. We kinda had a scary weekend, so I had to go to the doctors today, but lucky us everything is okay. We are excited to have a little one join our family. So what are you naming baby Jo Jo? are you getting super excited to have another???? We hope Justin had a good first day of school!

Hey Justin! I just tried to catch up on your family! Congrats on the move, the baby, and dental school. It turns out my life is pretty boring when I read other people's blogs! I was looking through some older posts and I had the same doctors in Logan. Isn't Dr. Visik the best?(I can't remember how to spell his name though!)It's taken me 3 years to find another peds dr. I like as much as him! Anyway, good luck with everything and keep in touch!
