Our son Scotlin was born in Canada to parents who are both Citizens of the U.S.
This means he gets to have citizenship in both countries.
So, not only is Scotlin the newest and most handsome Canadian, he gets to be the best looking American as well!
Today we were able to take him to the U.S. Consulate here in Nova Scotia to finalize his dual citizenship, get his passport and certificate of birth abroad.
Scotlin will always have this unique honor, and of all the things we could take from this journey he will always be our best Canadian Souvenir!

how exciting! I haven't been able to read your blog lately since my laptop is getting fixed! Sounds like it's been a rough few weeks. When we got Ethan circumsized it was right before he was 4 weeks old too, so stressful! So you know there is a doctor in PEI who does it too!!
