The kids have been begging to color their easter eggs. One morning they decided they just couldn`t wait any longer, so it had to be done first thing!
We set things up, boiled the eggs, and got to work. The kids were all over this project- loving every minute- having ball.
The best part was getting to eat one one for breakfast at the end. Miley had her first taste of a hard-boiled egg, an she said she liked it a lot.
Whenever the kids and I are out and about, someone will always stop us on our way, and talk to the kids. Last week someone stopped and asked Miley her name, and then asked her what is your brother`s name... She told then his name was `DOO DOO, but he also likes to be called BIG BOY.`
I had a good laugh about this one, because both names are true. ;) And I especially loved the look on the face of the friendly passerby.
Justin had Friday off from School, and kindly offered to take our family on an outing and lunch date to Peggy`s Cove. We had lunch in the restaurant there, an enjoyed the rest of the afternoon scaling the rocks near the lighthouse, and watching the huge waves crash against the shore.
The coast was exceptionally cold, but it`s just all a part of the adventure. The kids were determined to throw rocks into the water. They had a blast, and we were able to enjoy our family time together.
