Starting off the summer with high school graduations.

Our Summer trips began with a visit to Salt Lake to see my two siblings Brandon and Rhiannon graduate from Brighton High School, and then Justin's younger brother Jordan graduate from Bingham High. Both in the same day. Let's just say we were graduation-ed OUT. But we love you guys, and we are excited for what the future holds in store for each one of you.

10 Month Old Miley

Stronger. Sassy. Curious. Cautious. Shy. Sweet. Energetic. Talkative. Clingy. Bright eyed. Busy. Independent. Beautiful. Miley J at 10 months old is a very strong willed little girl who is eager to learn, and be on the move. Miley wants to be with mommy or daddy at all times, and no one else will do. She loves toys, talking, walking with help, water, being outside, books, animals, drinking with a sippy cup, and getting her way. Miley is a tender hearted little girl. My very first impression of Miley as my newborn daughter was her calm and peaceful disposition, and it has proven to be truly in her nature. She is very, very sweet. Right now she is in a stage between being a baby and being a toddler. Each day she grows more and more, and wants to do more on her own. I am happy to see her anxious to learn about her surroundings and what she can do next. I am glad she is busy and exploring, and curiously excited about her own little world. And more than anything else, I'm so glad she's mine.

Miley: Happy as long as she can be with, see or touch Mom or Dad. Loves to play "I'm gonna get you!". Lights up when Daddy comes home. Wants to sleep on her tummy. Fascinated with Birds, and water. Tongue always out. Still grunts and yells. Adored. Loved.

One Last Hoorah!

We had ourselves a little graduation celebration with our closest Logan friends last weekend in Island Park. The weekend was relaxing, and full of laughs. I'm so glad we had the opportunity to make a few final memories all together.

The first day we had lunch together at this cute little cafe in town. Jon decided we should throw away all the food we brought and eat at the cafe every day instead. He didn't get his way, but I'm pretty sure we were all craving it for the next four days. We highly recommend eating at The Pines if you are ever in Island Park.

The next day after everyone had arrived we took a little trip out to Mesa Falls. This trip was full of waterfalls! We just could not get enough. The babies were mesmerized by the water too.

Here's the whole crew (minus Spencer who was busy playing behind us, and Baylee who was asleep in the truck). Adam, Eden, and Zaida Summers, Jocelyn, Jon, and Taylor Knott, Devin, Erin, and Rory Hepner, Justin, Jess, and Miley Madsen, Jake, Jamie, and Jaxson Bingham.

The rest of the day was spent playin' games, watchin' movies, chillin' in the hot tub, and enjoying pattle boat rides across the lake.

The boys enjoyed 'All you can watch ESPN' while the girls played in the hot tub with the kiddos.
On the third day we headed into Yellowstone for an afternoon of geysers, waterfalls, and buffalo. We made a stop at Old Faithful and walked all around the hot pots and geysers there.

Here's Miley waiting for Old Faithful to do it's thing...And there it goes.

Throughout the day we saw a lot of pretty waterfalls. Here are a couple of our favorites...
Lower falls,
And Upper Falls. We saw a ton of buffalo during our drive. There was an entire herd blocking the road on our way out of the park, and lucky duck Justin got to sit in the back of the truck with these happy campers the whole time...

As you can see our buffalo friends were not concerned about taking their time, and yes, that is Jake on top of his car...

Yellowstone was not a dissapointment. In fact, the entire trip was a total blast the whole time. I already miss everyone. I have to admit there were a few times when I would look around the room filled with all of my friends and start to tear up at the thought of leaving them. The kids were all so cute, and I know Miley had fun being with them. Thanks for coming Knotts, Hepners, Binghams, Summers!! You made the trip complete! Lets do a card game night again soon so I can call Jon the "Game Master" again and have everyone laugh at me!

Justin's Graduation

We celebrated Justin's Graduation from Utah State University on Saturday with our families. This was a long awaited, anticipated, achievement. He graduated with a Bachelor's Degree and honors in Business Administration, and a minor in Chemistry. It has always been Justin's goal to head off to Dental School with a Degree to help him run a future practice. I am so proud of you Justin! I have watched you work towards this goal since the first day we met. Our lives will be blessed by this educational foundation you have given us. We will be blessed by your focus, knowledge, and dedication. I am grateful that you are committed to excellence, and desire to reach to new heights.
The Graduate. The Future Grad. Justin participated in the procession and commencement ceremonies, and would highly recommend it to any future graduates. The Madsen clan as well as members from my family came up to Logan to help congratulate the grad! Justin and His parents Scott and Kerri.
Both USU Grads.
Go Aggies!
Jordan, Josh, Me, Miley, Justin, Grandma Kerri, Grandpa Scott, Jared, Jason, Heidi, and Sadie.
Grandpa Kerry, Grandma Sharron, Justin, Me, Miley, Brandon, and Aunt Janet.
We all cheered so loud for Justin when his name was called we scared Miley to tears:(
She was happier after a little walk,
and playin' with her cousin. We went to dinner afterwards with the whole group, and my Grandma and Grandpa T. were able to come join us.
Justin was showered with Gifts and $mullah$ (his favorite, wink, wink). Here he is sporting his new glasses, and a diploma frame for his future office. It was a memorable day, and we are so grateful to all of our family for their love and support.
Congratulations Justin!
