A Bit of May

Justin has been prepping for, and taking final exams.
"Darwin" his typo-daunt came home with him for practice.
Miley was afraid of it. Her dad explained that he was cleaning his teeth just like how we brush her teeth. After she understood what it was for she came running to tell me that Darwin says "AWWWW... Open up!"
This week we received a special Mother's Day package in the mail. I felt for a minute what missionaries feel like when they get a huge package from home. It's sweet! WE have the best parents in the world!
Miley enjoyed devouring the M&M's. I have never seen her wolf anything down so fast.
She was excited to see her doll Grandma and Grandpa got her for Christmas. She kept saying it was 'pretty,' and holding her arms out to hold it.
Scotlin was in love with his new ball.
He is sitting up on his own now. Trying to get up on his knees still, and he has mastered 360's on the floor. He's so good to go with the flow. Especially when his sister sits on the floor, holds out her arms, and begs to hold him. Just like the doll. (When she holds him she wraps her arms around his shoulders to give him a hug. It looks more like a head-lock! It's hilarious, and adorable.)
The spring weather has been off and on in Nova Scotia. Some days it's sunny but, windy. Other days it's rainy and cold. On the days it is nice we are out at the park near our house enjoying bubbles, kites, streamers, side-walk-chalk, swings, slides, shovels and buckets.
Scotlin loves the grass, and Miley can't get enough independence into one day. If there is anything to do she wants to do it herself.
May has been nice so far. We are especially enjoying a little more time with Just as School is winding down.
