Day 3:

On the last day of their visit we didn`t go anywhere. Even though we were not traveling to far off destinations and exploring the atlantic coastline, we made the best memories yet. Dad and Michelle came to the house, and we spent the afternoon hanging out and playing with the kids. Dad was able to rest his eyes for a minute. Poor guy never did recover from the jet lag. Michelle didn`t get a chance to rest because Miley had her busy playing with toys, and reading stories. As soon as Justin got home from school we all sat down and had supper together. Afterward we went for a little stroll near our home and made Tim Horton`s our final destination. We couldn`t let Michelle go home without that True Canadian Experience. ;)

We stayed up late visiting, laughing, and enjoying the company. We talked about life, school, marriage, choices, family, faith, and blessings. It wasn`t hard to recognize them all. Especially when they are sitting right in front of me. We sat in our living room, and as I looked across the room at my Dad and Michelle, here...in my house...I almost had to pinch myself. They`re really here! They really flew over 3,000 miles to be with us, and spend time with us. Love our kids, and make special memories together.

I am so grateful.

I love my family, and I miss them. So, this is a mixed emotions kind of day.

Happy, because they actually were here, and every mintue  of our time together was wonderful!

Sad, because their gone now. No longer just minutes away, and I don`t know how long it will be until we get to see them again.

But, it`s okay. Hard sometimes, but I can be strong, and choose to be grateful, and remember the good. Because ther is a lot of it!

We love visitors, but sure don`t enjoy seeing them go!
