Our First Christmas in Nova Scotia Part II

CHRISTMAS DAY

Christmas morning the kids were dying to get down the stairs as fast as they could! Pictures on the stairs come first though...
The first thing both kids saw when they came into the room was Scotlin`s slide. They were both so excited, and Scotlin started climbing imidiately! Miley was shocked to see so many presents. She came pointing to them and telling us Santa brought presents!!

Next miley discovered her kitchen set. She was thrilled! It was so fun to see them so excited over their gifts. They started playing right away!

Miley was super excited to find the treasures in her stocking. All season long she looked forward to finding the treats Santa would bring for her stocking. Everytime she would pull something out of her stocking she would put it on... headband, bracelets... And then get distracted by whatever toy Scotlin was opening, so she`d run to check it out.

 The kids opened their police and fire trucks together, and thought it was really cool how they light up and make noise.

Scotlin right after opening his little teady bear. He was hugging and kissing it. He still sleeps with it everynight. It`s his favorite bear now.

Once the stocking candy was discovered it was as if someone flipped a switch from christmas gifts to shovel candy into your mouth as fast as you can.
Scotlin was the winner.
Who knew this kid could hold an entire bag of sweedish berries in his mouth!

Miley was super excited about her `tigcraphone`and ech-o-scetch. She started singing away as soon as we turned on the music. She loves giving us little concerts.

It was a complete success!

(Throughout the rest of the day the kids begged to play with their new toys. It was so great to see them so excited and thrilled over them! Their new Christmas toys are still their favorites (mid January). Later that afternoon we relaxed and tried to catch a nap while the kids were sleeping. Christmas is EXHAUSTING! I don`t ever remember being that tired before! Everyone had a blast though so every minute of it was completely worth it. We skyped with family that evening, had a cafe rio dinner, and watched movies together. This Christmas was memorable and special, and one we will never forget.)
