The Country Fest held in South Jordan, Utah always calls for a fun filled day with family.
This year we met up with cousins and grandparents first thing in the morning for the parade.
The cousins were eager to collect their candy, and baby Loren was looking as sweet and grown up as can be. A fun way to get the day off to a good start~
Baby being such a big kid..
Cuties waiting for candy~
I got ran off the road by big foot when I crossed the street to use the restroom... Luckily he was quickly distracted by grandma's beauty that he had to grab her and take her for a spin on his harley! She had a blast, and is always a good sport.
The kids thought grandma was pretty cool!
Later that evening we hit up the county fair.
Scotlin wasn't tall enough for the big kid rides quiet yet, but Miley was... so it left him feeling a little left out. We found the biggest of the little kid rides we could, and he went on them over and over and over again by himself...
Miley was determined to ride every big kid ride there was just because she could. Some of them made me sick to watch her- they were spinning so fast. The look of horror on her face was only to fool me because she would rave about how awesome it was when she got off... and then would go again!
They had enough spinning and junk food to make them sick. We ended the night listening to live music on the grass and watching fireworks. The kids had the time of their lives!
Pictured below is Uncle Jordan with his bride to be Brittany. The kids love her! We are excited to have her in our family!
I came home from the fair that night and slept terrible... Actually, the only one who ended up sick in the middle of the night was ME! ;(
It sure was a fun filled day.. fun to look back on the memories. So many fun things to do together, close to home.
