My Dooey Doo turns 2

As Scotlin`s birthday drew closer, he became more and more excited. I loved seeing the smile that would imidiately come to his face when I would ask him if he had a birthday coming soon. He would always answer enthusiastically, `Yeah!` in his sweet little voice.

We love our Scotlin. Dooey is so darn easy to make happy. It was a joy and pleasure celebrating him today.

Things I loved about today:

- Seeing my Dooey so happy.

- All of the love! Phone calls and messages for our special boy.

- Listening to Scotlin singing `happy birthday to you` while playing quietly by himself with his new toys.

- The way he would state `Happy. Birthday. Scotlin.` everytime he came into the kitchen and saw his balloons and streamers.

- Having Dad home this morning for presents and breakfast.

- Spending the afternoon together doing the things he loves.

- spoiling my baby with all of his favorite things.

Our Dearest Scotlin,

Your first 2 years were the fastest of my life! But, also, they very best because of the addition you were in our family. Your disposition is so tender. Your intelect, so bright. And, your personality so fun, playful, and contagious to be around. You are handsome and beautiful at the same time. Your Dad and I love you. You truly are our perfect son. We thank our Creator for your life, and for the blessing you have been in ours.
