It`s amazing just how glorious the sun can be when we get to see it shine so infrequently. We woke up to the sun shining brilliantly one morning and decided to drop all plans and make it outside for as much of the day as we could enjoy. We took the kids out to a fun little park we have been to only a few other times, but didn`t realize we should have prepared them better for the perfect little beach area that sits off to the side. Miley loved digging for sea shells, and building castles in the sand. Scotlin wasn`t a bit shy with the cold water, and making his way through like it was nothing. They left wet and sandy before we were finally rained out. But, we sure enjoyed the beautiful afternoon.
