Fall Festivities and Halloween

We've enjoyed a colorful and beautiful fall, and a few fun festivities along the way.

Halloween and Trick or Treating!!

Our Monkey Dooey

Both kids picked their costumes this year, and both played and stayed in character when those costumes were on. Miley danced and pranced around like a princess, and insisted that she needed a Prince to go with her ensamble, so she quickly found a replacement... with Miley's help, Scotlin went from a regular monkey into "Handsome Dooey Monkey Prince."

I might have a great big belly these days.

Back home for visitors, movies, snacks, and trick or treating with friends.

Ready to trick or treat in the wind and rain.

We're hard core. 

The kids loved Halloween this year, and are a bit sad they have to wait a year until it comes again. 

They were sweet and polite at each door step trick or treating, and it was very fun taking them out to have such a good time. (No pics of Mi trick or treating... can't keep up with the girl. :) ... )

They both have enough candy to ration for months, and they have taken great pride in counting it, over and over and over again. 

It's been a successful holiday, and wonderful, enjoyable fall season.
