An afternoon with my great friend Mary and her kids to thanksgiving point museum.
So grateful to have become closer to Mary this year. When it's time to go, we say goodbye over 50 times... :) Always hard to part with her... we could talk for hours~
(It also makes for awesome play-dates when my nieces are Mary's nieces too... her sister married my brother. Cousins all around~)
A back update never yields to good news on my end. These days can be fateful in their own way. It's not fun leaving with bad news, so much to think about, and uncertainty about the future. But, I will not let it get me down. I will keep pushing forward, and keep fighting for my health.
It's too bad that chronic pain chose the wrong woman to mess with, because now it will have to battle my courage, bravery, optimism and strength.
Bring it on.
I'm looking forward ~ I'm looking up, ~ and the future is bright.
That incredible day when after years of teaching and encouragement, the kids wake up and make their bed. Because they wanted to, and chose to on their own.
It's been happening regularly now, and it's a beautiful thing. :)
When uncles drop by just to tickle and wrestle with the kids~~
squealing and laughter, and lots of love~~
this is what life is all about.
