I really like seeing dreams come true.

This is a story about a little girl named Miley.

Miley really, really, REALLY wanted to go ice skating. So, one day, just before the end of the semester, her dad told her that if she could be patient, and A really, really, REALLY good girl until he was finished with school, then he would take her ice skating.

And, what do you know...
The dream in her little 2 year old heart came true.

Look! There she is stepping out onto the ice. GO MILEY!

GO MILEY GO!!
Nova Scotia is pretty darn cold, but this little Miley is pretty darn tough. And, you know what... She did it!
Miley ice skated for the first time all the way around the Canada Games Olympic Oval.
And, you know what else... She had a BALL!
The End.

***So, yes. Obviously I can post pictures now. After I paid the system it took about a month before more space was granted. Even tough it feels good to take a break from blogging, there are some picture`s and events I just can`t resist posting! For instance: Miley ice skating fot the first time. She was SOOO cute, and SOOO happy. When we skated around together she would just yell `Wheeee!!``Faster!` She`d cheer herself on saying `Good job Mi Mi`s!` She was Oh-So proud of herself! The whole way home she kept telling us how happy it makes her to go ice skating. It was heart warmingly precious.

So, I am a bit torn, and kind of going in circles with what to do.. Let me explain...
During this `blogging break`I`ve realized I blog much less (and, am a lot more boring, in my husband`s opinion) on our personal blog. I guess the truth is, Readers motivate me to blog more. That may be sad, especially considering the fact I know how important these record are, but it`s true, so, I guess it`s the sad, and honest truth.

Another truth is Your requests for more posts are getting hard to ignore, because remeber... readers motivate me. But, here is my dilema. Privacy is a good thing in my mind. But, if I make this blog private I am only allowed to invite 100 readers. Well, that is not going to be good for the over 100 readers who will be left out, and their just the one`s I know about.
So, it may be all or nothing. But, I can`t decide, so the blog strike continues.
Anyone care to share their thoughts...

That is so cute!

Ok, you CAN invite more than 100 readers to your blog. It says you may have 100 authors, people who can publish on your blog. You can have as many readers as you want (like I have 192 right now). So don't let that be a dilemma for you! Good luck!

You better keep it going. I don't quite get the private part
( you'll have to talk to me on that one) Wish that I could have come to the Oval to watch I could have kept Scotlin company. Let me know next time!!!! Tell Miley that I'm very proud of her!!!

Way to go Miley, you are one tough little girl! Jess, I completely understand your blogging woes. Since going private I feel like no one cares to read or comment on our blog. It makes me not want to blog which is silly because the reason I am blogging is for our personal journal. With that being said, I often think about going public again.

That is so awesome she did so well! We took Sarynn roller skating and it was a big FAIL. Go Miley!

I don't fully understand the going private thing... But someone said you can have more than 100 so why not...

Ahhh...Ice skating was one of our favorite things to do as a family while in Nova Scotia! I wish we could have been there while the Oval was up...I keep seeing people on Facebook talking about it and it makes me miss living there! This will be one post to remember and have Miley look back on....she skated on the same rink the Canada Games are going to be held on! LOVE IT!

As for the private thing...I have thought a lot about it and go back and forth on it all the time. But then I think about the blogs that I look at that are private and to tell you the truth I don't always remember to check the private ones. Sometimes I forget because I read from my google reader and private ones don't show up on there. I just changed my privacy settings to the highest (like my blog can't be found in a search engine etc...) and have the feedjit on it...
Good luck what ever you decide. If you go private send me an invite for sure! beckeybuxton@gmail.com
