New Year: 2011!

New Years Eve:
Justin and I thought it would be fun to host New Years Eve at our house this year. In the past, the students have had a tradition to host a `Lobster Dinner`and play games. So, we thought we would keep it going strong! (Except for the fact that no one really likes lobster.) Everyone brought their own choice of meat, a treat, and side dish to share, so dinner was covered. The kids sure enjoyed the spread! We decided to feed the kids first so they could run and play while the adults had plenty of time to visit.

A few of our favorite couples: Sarah and Adam Thompson, Kevin and Renae Calder, and Carolyn and Brandon Griffin. We felt really lucky to have this company here tonight to help us ring in a fabulous new year!

All of us played games until only minutes before midnight. We hustled down stairs to catch the celebration on tv right before the clock struck 12. Hanging out, and visiting with these wonderful friends of ours was the perfect way to end an awesome year, and introduce a new one that will be even better!
