Snow Days

 Everyday this week the kids and I have been sick with the flu (at least I think that's what had/have). Ugh. It was not a week I want to relive, unless it's a do-over!! Today Miley seemed to be feeling better, and all she could talk about was going out to play in the snow. Scotlin and I were still a bit under the weather, so she and daddy geared up for play time outside. She was really excited as you can see...

 This really was the perfect week to be sick and stuck inside all day since we were buried by a huge snow storm for a few days. Miley stood in the snow on the back deck and it was up to her hips!

 Here she is ready for a sleigh ride! Dad was going to pull her around the yard on the sleigh, but I had to snap a picture first since it shows how the snow covered the deck almost half way high. A little fresh air sure made her morning!

She's lucky to have such a sweet dad. I loved watching out the window as they played in the snow. She was so happy. 

After we had the kids bathed and dressed this morning Justin came in and told me how he thought Miley is always so cute, but when she gets her hair done up and she's all ready for the day she just looks GORGEOUS! I had to agree. And, I thought it was so sweet coming from her dad.
As we have been sick this week, Miley and I have laid on the couch and snuggled together. I would just lay there and stare at her beautiful little face, taking in all her features. I love her porcelain skin, dark eyes, and red lips. She is a natural beauty. She's going to be a little heartbreaker... but her dad doesn't like to hear that... ;) ... We just love the girl.
