More from our trip to Utah!

When we got to Utah the only two things on our agenda were hanging out with the family, and enjoying the nice weather.

Grandpa Kerry was always so nice to walk the kids down the river to throw rocks in the pond. The kids warmed up to everyone fast, and it was so cute watching them walk down the lane hand in hand.

We had a long winter in Halifax, and it didn't permit for very much outside time. We were all in heaven with the beautiful weather in Utah and desert heat! 

We got to celebrate Uncle Bran's Birthday while we were there, so we were able to see everyone. It was just so wonderful to give the kids a chance to get to know their family. And, it was so precious to watch!

I have missed my brother Ken so much while we have been away. He is such an amazing dad! We were so happy to see him and his kids. They are all sweet as pie! There was nothing better than seeing them all together.

Miley had a special bond with Brandon, and loved to be by his side. Whenever he wasn't near here she was looking for him... "Uncle Braaaannn?!.... Where are you Uncle Braaaannn???"

Scotlin also took a special liking to Uncle Nate. I could hardly believe how fast he warmed up to him. It came to a point when Scotlin only wanted to go to Nate. haha! I loved it!! It was really cute, and just goes to show what amazing intuition children have. Nate was the absolute best Uncle in return, and was willing to spend so much time with Scotlin: showing him around and helping him explore. It was so great to see Nate while we were there. We are so proud of the man he is becoming!

Later our first evening, Grandma Kerri was kind enough to stop by and welcome us. We had all been looking forward to seeing her, and the rest of the Madsen Clan. She stayed for a bit and we were able to visit while she read stories to the kids. There is nothing we enjoy more than making these special memories together.
