Visiting Manti and Gunnison

Before returning home to Halifax we were able to spend time with some of our family who are very special to us. Mom and Dad were kind enough to drive us down to Manti and Gunnison to visit our grandparents, and a few gravesides of our relatives who we were unfortunately unable to say goodbye to before they passed on.

We stopped first in Manti to visit Great Grandpa and Grandma Cox. They treated us to a wonderful lunch on their patio, and we were able to visit while the kids ran and played in the hot, hot sun. The kids were having a blast! They loved Grandma and Grandpa's mini trampoline, and the swings in the backyard.

After lunch and visiting we were able to head down to the cemetery to pay a visit to our Aunt Libby and Uncle Scott, two very special people.

We headed on down to Mayfield to visit Sweet Grandma Lois.
We drove by the cemetery there also, and were able to visit The graves of our dear Grandpa Jack, and Aunt Debra. We were honestly so grateful for these moments. These people have meant a lot to us, and we were so sad to not be able to be in Utah to honor them at the time of their passing. We love them very much.
Grandma Lois was so sweet to treat us all to dinner. We had a surprise visit from Aunt Margret, who is an absolute favorite! Scotlin caught right onto that too, and couldn't take his eyes off her. He was in love with Aunt Margret, and she was so sweet to play with him. It made his day!

After Supper we went back the house to visit. Grandma was so kind to give us Keepsakes from her and Grandpa. We were so grateful! We love our grandparents so much, and we were so glad we were able to go down and spend some time with them before we had to leave. It was a wonderful day full of wonderful memories.
