Mom came to visit. I really can`t think of anything better, or that I could have needed more at this exact moment. I love her so much. There is not a day that goes by that I am not amazed by the woman I get to call my mother. I am so grateful for her, and to her, for all that she is in my life.
The weather wasn`t what I had hoped it would be for her visit, but we made perfect company despite the rain. The sun poked out just a few times and we were able to take advantage. I took her to peggy`s cove, where she enjoyed her first look at a real lighthouse. Our adventures were few between the poor weather, and poor pregnancy, but, those in-between days made room for our endless visits and afternoon naps. ;)
Mom looked after us- spoiling us with dining out, and her generous chef, maid, and nanny services. She even gave us a night out together to the movies... a rare pleasure! Justin was amazed at every turn... `Is she cleaning up too?` he`d say... Followed by a confident sigh of relief: `she can move in!` :) That certainly would be the life. Mom takes good care of all of us, and anyone she has to leave ends up crying... this I know is true! :)
I know it takes a lot of time, energy, and money to leave life and travel to Nova Scotia. I couldn`t feel luckier. I think of our fun chats late into the night, and I smile inside and out. Thank you mom for taking care of me. I love you.
