Arriving in Utah

The day we flew to Utah we had an early start. Just and I were up at 4 am, loaded, and leaving the house by 5. The flights were uneventful in a good way, and after a very long day we were finally descending over the Salt Lake Valley. 

We had no idea the whole family was waiting at the airport. What a sweet surprise! The best part was seeing Jordan home from his missions and bran new babies Stella and Josie, both with their first baby year nearly complete! It was a delightful reunion to say the least. 

The first thing I remember seeing through all this excitement and joy was our little niece Sadie running up to us, and the next thing I knew Miley had thrown her arms around Sadie's neck in a huge embrace! What a treasured moment for these two!! :) From that moment on they were running off together, twirling, laughing, and dancing until they were red in the face. Just a small preview of all the fun to lay ahead.

The kids were thrilled to see their Uncles, and getting the party started without delay!! :) 

We were granted another wonderful surprise once on the ground. I was able to retrieve my e-mail and find a message from our doctor with the results of our ultrasound appointment. The first line of this e-mail sure put a smile on my face. Our Doctor is seriously so great exclaiming first thing in her message:

"IT'S A GIRL!!!!!!!"

We were thrilled to receive this happy news! You can imagine what it was like opening that message with family right there to celebrate. Such a treat! Our vacation is off to one wonderful start, and we are so happy to be home!!!
