The end of July marks rodeo time! A tradition my family has had since the day I was born (literally) and even long before. We knew we wouldn't have the time or energy to stay up for the rodeo, but we definitely did not want to miss out on a day full of extended family and tradition. So, we geared up and headed on through Cache Valley to Preston Idaho.
Justin and I pulled a major parent moment taking our sweet time driving through Logan. We drove through campus, past our old home, and around the Temple. Taking in the beauty that will always remain, and reminiscing about wonderful memories that never fade.
We had the chance to see a lot of my extended family that I have not seen in a very long time. Too long! I was introducing Justin for the first time to some of them, and that is just too long! I love my family, and seeing so many of them while we were here was such a treat! I am grateful I got to see my darling little Grandma and Grandpa. I was delighted to see my cousins that I have missed catching up with for so long, and delighted to see my children running around with theirs. Truly joyful moments!
We stayed for supper, and for the totally amazing parade. I felt so at home. It made for one very wonderful day.
~So grateful to see so many sweet cousins and family! It's been too long!~
Mom and Kerry have been more than amazing to us during our trip. Accommodating us with their vehicles, time, money, and energy.
I loved when my kids started calling Kerry "Care Bear!"
No one is better to us. So grateful!
