Graduation day was overwhelmingly powerful.
Both Justin and I were overcome with the emotions of excitement, accomplishment and relief.
Watching Justin on stage with our children, to receive his Doctorate of Dental Surgery, will stand through time as one of the most honored moments of my life.
I couldn't help but feel an overwhelming sense of pride at the sight, and my applause have never been more meaningful.
Before leaving the stage, Scotlin took the opportunity to receive his Doctorate as well.
The crowd roared with laughter at this adoring little boy.

After Graduation our day was filled with celebrations. We returned quickly to the hotel to change and relax for a bit first. So much of our parents stay was focused on moving and grad, so we decided we we would head out to Peggy's Cove for dinner to add a little Nova Scotian flavor to their trip. It was a beautiful foggy day and our last trip to the lighthouse reminded us very much of our first.
The experience wouldn't be complete without Lobster!
Scotlin wasn't too sure about his Grandma's choices for supper.
Peggy's Cove was beautiful that day. It was hard to see the ocean through the fog which is a shame, because the scene is incredible on a clear day. But, without the fog we couldn't show our parents what life was really like everyday in the grey wet weather we became so accustomed to.
(Our moms were not too sure about the grey, wet weather. They were still freezing!)

When you travel to Nova Scotia, you travel back in time.
This scenery has not changed an ounce in 4 years, and my guess is, if we returned in 50 it would still be the same. There is a part of me that loves this historical untouched land.
We looked forward to Graduation Day for many years. It was a wonderfully celebrated and happy day for our family, and also served as a tremendous conclusion to our journey.
Although challenging at times, we now look back with great fondness of our time in Canada.
And will cherish every memory made while living there.
Congratulations for your accomplishment Justin! We love you!
