Magic

Magical things start happening when we are away from our families for a long time and then come home to visit.
1st. We get spoiled.
The mom and dad in this family got to be husband and wife for a change and actually go out on a DATE! Whoo Hoo!
2nd. Our kids get spoiled to death.
Papa Al and Grammy Chellz treated us to lunch this week. Before the meal was over Dad mentioned there was a fun toy store just around the corner he where he wanted to take the kids to pick out a toy.

Miley was going absolutely insane over the choo choo train table set. Not one of us could get her away from it long enough to look at any other toys. She was distraught when we had to say goodbye. It was clear to grandma and grandpa that Miley would enjoy having a train set of her own, and so that is exactly what she got. They were right too, because the train is her toy of choice since the moment it came out of the box. She would probably sleep with it if we'd allow it.

Grandpa put toys in front of Scotlin on the floor and let him pick his own. He chose a bright pink and purple ball, and a stuffed lion. Grandpa said if that's what he chooses that's what he gets! We can't believe how spoiled and lucky all of us are! Is it any wonder why we miss them when we are gone? Their the best!

Ever since our lunch date the only question Miley will ask, and the only question I have to answer is "Where's Papa Al?" If my grandpa spoiled me this much every time I saw him I'd be wondering where he is all of the time too!

Every second of our trip to Utah has been full of fun, relaxation, beautiful family, and wonderful memories. All of which we are so grateful for.

Gotta love grandparents! Glad you were able to go out on a date, well deserved!

Spoiling is what you deserve for being so far away for so long. I don't know how any grandparents could resist spoiling those two kiddos anyway. They're adorable.
