Justin's high school friends reunite each year at christmas time to catch up with one another. We have always been invited, but haven't been able to make it in a long time, so this year it was nice to be able to go and see everyone we have missed. I know Justin thoroughly enjoys catching up with this group of good people, and I enjoy it too as many of his friends have become mine as well over the years.

The residency treated the Doctors like royalty this year. They were spoiled by a work christmas party at the Grand America~

These are all the Doctors and Assistance in the U of U GPR.
Playing in the snow in Utah means you can practically stay out all day. Other than getting super wet, the sun is shining and it's not too cold. The kids have been taking full advantage, playing outside in snowsuits nearly everyday.
My mom and I spent an afternoon together this season to visit the festival of trees.
My cousin's wife had made a tree in honor of his mother (my Aunt Karol) as a christmas surprise for him. It was a touching gift to say the least. Karol was my mom's best friend. In their early marriage and raising children years they lived 5 doors down from one another, and shared the same birthday. Karol passed away 10 years ago with my mother at her side.
Mom was very emotional when we found Karol's tree.
It was a very special moment, and we are both grateful Karol's spirit was captured and shared for us to remember again.
We spent a special family fun night in the Strassberg home where Evan and Lisa taught our children how to spin the driedle. Miley was a natural, catching on quick and raking in those gold coins.
Feeling fun and festive tonight learning something new~
