Today is our anniversary. Justin is working, and I am home resting and recovering my back.
We have plans made to celebrate when I am feeling better, but today is still special to me.
As I reflect back upon 7 years together It's hard to believe how quickly it has come and how many adventures we have had side by side.
Thank you to my sweetheart for walking hand in hand with me through so many of the ups and downs. And for only letting love, compassion and devotion grow along the way.
Today, my mom knew just what I needed. She suggested we go for a drive, knowing that sometimes fresh air and a change of scenery is all I need.
She helped me load up the car, and drove me towards the canyon and through past neighborhoods of my childhood. We admired the changing colors and stopped at the playground for the kids to play.
Thank you for your companionship today, mom. For cheering me up and cheering me on.
