Doo Doo at 9 months

You are probably wondering how on Earth Scotlin got stuck with the nick name "DOO DOO?" Well, there is not much to it other than it is what his sister calls him and it just stuck. I think she got it from us talking baby talk to him and always seeing us in his face saying "doo doo, doo, doo goo, goo, boo, goo, ga, ga." before I knew it she was getting in his face and squealing "DOO DOO!" It always made him laugh and smile, so she kept it up until soon enough he answers to it as if it were his name. Interesting choice of a nick name, but it works for our little man!

At 9 months Scotlin is getting more sturdy on his feet. He enjoys any movement that can rock him back and forth. Doo Doo just got his bery first tooth, and he is catching up to his big sister in size. Even though he is getting bigger everything about Scotlin's personality is still very, very, baby, baby.

Doo Doo loves to be outside, but doesn't like wind, or too much sunshine. He is a little particular about vegetables, and makes a big scene trying to gag them down, but loves bananas and any other fruit or sweet treat. His sister is his best friend and no one makes him happier.

Most mom's out there would gasp if they knew Scotlin's little secret...At nine months he still doesn't sleep through the night. {GASP!} He may be practically perfect in everyway, but the truth is, he's not my best little sleeper. I should not complain though, because things have improved a lot, and he is getting much, much better. Plus, I really don't mind getting up in the night. It's our very best snuggle time, and I sometimes honestly have a hard time laying him back down. I would rather snuggle and squeeze him for hours!

I hear more and more Scotlin looks like his Dad. I want to claim his every feature, but it's hard to deny the Dominate Madsen traits. Scotlin is such a simple little guy. He is happy, and pleasant. Cute as a button, and easy, easy, easy. He is a good sport to tag along, and sometimes is quite literally a perfect angel. Especially when I am expecting otherwise. I could not be more thrilled to have a son. I love each day with him, and get so excited to see his gorgeous face everyday.
