Up to this point in the trip we had traveled quite a bit. Of course, we didn't want to stop, but we did feel like a break for the kids to stay home, and have an afternoon nap would be beneficial for the whole group. So, on the 5th day of the trip, I stayed home with the kids while the rest of the family headed out to enjoy a lovely day at Peggy's Cove.
Mom and Dad saw Peggy's Cove for the first time over 2 years ago when they were here helping us move our lives to NS. The first day we came was foggy, and the water wasn't visible. But this time the view was crystal clear and can only be described as glorious! I was so glad they were able to take a trip out to the coast on a beautiful day and spend this time together taking it all in. I know they loved their time together too!
I love the rock here, and of course all of the gorgeous views from Peggy's Cove!
After the scenic trip they stopped for lunch at a sensational season shack right on the ocean side.
The report came in: This was the best fish they have ever had in their lives!
For a fish lover, surely that is a great experience! ;)
They were all so glad they took the chance to get out and enjoy this gorgeous day together.
