Touring Dalhousie: School of Dentistry

On the final full day of Mom and Dad's visit we were able to take a tour of Justin's school.
The perfect place to show them what our life here in Halifax is all about.
I know Scott and Kerri were looking forward to seeing where Justin devotes so much of his time.
We were lucky to line up a tour while they were still in town.

Bruce Moxley, Director of Clinical Affairs led the tour for us. The White's and Millet's joined, and together we were the Utah student family stroller brigade.
Bruce was so good to accommodate us, all our kids, and all our questions.
The tour was of course very informative. But, along with the facts, it's nice to get a feel for the program, the administration that orchestrates it all, and feel again the privilege it is to be apart of it all.

The tour left no stone unturned. We were able to see it all, and also learn a lot more about the history of the school and city we never knew before.
Here are a few of the places Justin sees everyday:

Oral surgery

Scican clinic {Professor's Private Practice Area}

McLean Center - Oral Surgery

Patient Clinc
This is were Justin spends most of his time seeing patients everyday.

After the tour of the Dental School we headed over to the campus book store to check things out. Who doesn't love a college bookstore?! Scotlin found this abominable snowman hat while we were checking out all of the DAL gear. He walked around with it over his head, covering his eyes, and running into every display table. Of course just laughing along the way. Oh, I love my happy, funny Dooey!

My Miley girl looks more like a snow princess with it on... :)

After leaving the school we stayed in the city, and headed down to the wharf for lunch and a stroll.

 That evening we came home, had our final supper together, and then headed back out to enjoy the nice night, and last night together. We took a walk down to Paper Mill Lake, where we visited, and played with the kids. Jacelyn and her girls showed up at the lake, and so mom and dad we able to meet our neighbors, best friends, and favorite people.

Such a wonderful day!
